Do you know when you'll be releasing version 6.0.0 ?
The current stable version (5.0.40) uses an older version of the Npgsql package:

This is becoming a problem for certain analysis tools that issue critical alerts.
What's left to do but update a few dependencies (ex. dbup-cote to dbup-core and Npgsql to 8.0.5)?

Hi @droyad . When do you plan to merge this PR and release v6? Apparently, current dbup-postgresql is using some very old transitive dependencies and with .NET 9 switching to all we now get warnings below during the build:
error NU1903: Warning As Error: Package 'System.Private.Uri' 4.3.0 has a known high severity vulnerability, GHSA-5f2m-466j-3848

6.0.0-beta.28 has been published with the new libraries and a few other changes. I intend this to be what goes RTM, so please try it out and let us know if it work for you.

You are referencing a version of dbup-core that has not yet been published on nuget.org so it's not possible to test at the moment.

Hi @droyad, any updates on when you intend for version 6 of the library to be released? I'm looking forward to leveraging the ability to use an ILogger to capture logs 😄

The version is not published on nuget.org. It would be great if you could do it.
