[Bug]: Timeline cut preview plays removed segment instead of skipping it

Describe the bug

Cutting out a stale section of a recording does not preview playback correctly. For a 15-second recording, if I try to remove the segment from 3s to 10s by dragging the latter blob from 10s back to 3s, playback still starts at 3s and plays through 10s.

This makes it look like the section I want to remove is still being played, instead of previewing the final edited result.

Expected behavior

After cutting out the 3s-10s section, preview playback should skip the removed segment and play:

0s-3s, then immediately 10s-15s

To Reproduce

1. Start from any recording
2. Trim and remove a middle section from the video timeline, the resulting should be 2 separate blobs (as shown in the screenshot)
3. Drag the 2nd blob to the end of the 1st blob
4. Play or preview the edited recording.

Thanks for the clear repro. This is actionable from the timeline/editor side, so I am no longer treating it as blocked on reporter details.

The local check should compare preview vs export for the same 3s -> 10s removed segment: if export skips correctly but preview plays through the removed range, the bug is in preview/timeline playback; if export is wrong too, the shared edited timeline model needs attention.

If you already have an exported MP4 from the same edited project, adding that result would help, but no extra repro work is required just to keep this issue moving.

Opened PR #455 to lock this behavior down: #455

Current main already skips trim/cut regions during preview playback. The PR adds a regression test for the playback path where preview reaches a removed segment while playing, so this bug does not silently return.
