wayland post recording UI is unusable and export is unusably slow or fails

failed to use this on wayland

after getting the recording finally to work reasonably,

i did a recording

and in the post recording screen tried to export

everything was already pretty sluggish

export was 1fps even on the lowest setting

and lightning failed without an ability to catch the printed errors (disappears after a second)

Opened draft #302. This narrows the Linux GPU workaround so Recordly keeps disabling VAAPI on Linux, but stops forcing use-gl=egl in native Wayland sessions where Electron now defaults to Wayland on its own. I could only verify the switch-selection logic locally, so this still needs a real Wayland repro run on an affected machine.

Closing this as fixed by #302. That change keeps the Linux workaround for disabling VAAPI, but stops forcing use-gl=egl in native Wayland sessions where Electron now runs Wayland on its own. This also has a confirmation from an affected Wayland user on the PR thread. If anyone can still reproduce the same issue on current main or the next build, please reopen with the compositor and distro details.
