We were brainstorming ideas for a new homepage layout. Yeah my handwriting kinda really sucks and brainstorming can be really messy so here's a summary of what we came up with:
-Plan on keeping the navigation bar and the social media bar. keep mission statement and The Claaw up there
-Have something similar to the default tumblr theme under the mission statement
-The background image will be an out-of-focused team photo
-Instead of just the circle in the middle, it will be the FIRST Logo shapes, a red triangle, a white circle and a blue square, all solid color with words on them. When hovered over, they can send the user to another link. I'm bad at wording things
-Then below that, we'll have three columns I guess? One with updates, a twitter feed, and a smaller calendar
-On the very bottom, we'll put "contact us" information
This obviously isn't final yet but we want to have the following on the homepage
-attention grabbing graphics/stuff/idk
-statistics maybe?
-talk about our team, an overview (mentor-nurtured, student-driven, student growth, impact on community, outreach)
