No content response body POST method Chrome browser

I am getting a no content response body when invoking a POST method using chrome browser. I have just tried with Safari and the same method works fine.

I have been poking around some forums and many people suggest to enable the --allow-file-access-from-files Chrome option, I have tried to enable this option with no luck.

Hi, are you running swagger ui from the file system? or from a web server?

I was running swagger-ui from the file system. I have just deployed the ui on a tomcat server and am getting the following error on the Console:

XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://localhost:9000/dashboards/12. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://localhost:8080' is therefore not allowed access.

That's because you need to enable CORS on your application.

However, if the swagger-ui is deployed as part of your application (as it seems), then there's something misconfigured since you have two different ports there 9000 and 8080.

I was deploying the swagger-ui on a separate tomcat server, I have just deployed swagger-ui as part of my Play app and is working fine. Anyway I will enable CORS on my Play app because I don't want to deploy swagger-ui as part of my application.
