intellij warns "The app is already running. would you like to kill it and restart the session" for sbt protify

I'm getting:
"The app is already running. would you like to kill it and restart the session"
when I do "sbt protify" via intellij.

is this ok? or did I set something wrong?

The default sbt integration is unusable. I assume that is what you're using. Also, do not enable run main intent in the run configuration.
