Battletoads

Hi,
I’m using Proton-Sarek on systems with olders GPU (GT 730 and Radeon HD7950).
Many games that failed with regular Proton now work great, so thank you for that.
However, Battletoads (Steam) still stutters heavily or fails to render correctly.
Could this be related to a missing Vulkan feature?
I’d be happy to provide logs if useful.

I guess its this one? About the issue its most probably on my end.
Could you share some pictures of the game failing to render?

Also could you check if adding this to the launch parameters fixes it? (remember to add %command%):

DXVK_CONFIG="d3d11.constantBufferRangeCheck = True; d3d11.dcSingleUseMode = False"

Yes, this is this game.

Also, adding the parameter didn't change anything.

Please test this with the latest version (that should be up in some minutes when i send this message) and report back whether the issue still occurs. If it does, I’ll work on it. :).

Hello, Thanks for the update, I'm sure that it will be most useful!

As for the specific issue with Battletoads, unfortunately, the issue is still present. The loading screen after selecting the number of players takes a very long time (on a i9-10900), and in the game and menus, it is still unplayably jerky.

Please report this to DXVK-Sarek repo, as Proton-Sarek its currently unsupported and has been replaced by proton-cachyos as the DXVK-Sarek proton build
