• Optimize selection mapping, search rendering, indentation, word navigation, annotations, token caches, and text measurement.
• Improve PieceTable CRLF correctness, balancing, and buffer compaction.
• Remove dead helpers and corrected APIs/names, including tokenizer and findNextMatch.
• Add regression, stress, lifecycle, and performance-focused tests.
