[Feature Request] - Allow More than 11 Groups.

in Our case, we have nearly 50 groups to define. after 11 Groups it's not possible to create an annoucement.

We don't have a limit. Most likely you simply need to use the search to search for more groups instead.

Okay - Next Time when i got this error - I'll try to screenshot it and try to export the Log-File here. I got an problem (in our productive system) - when i choose more than 11 Groups (possible, that not the group limit is the problem, maybe the charater limit).

Maybe It's possible to reproduce for you. I "anonymized" here - i used Groups like This:

I tried in our Test --> and found following Error Message:

  | DbalException An exception occurred while executing a query: SQLSTATE[22001]: String data, right truncated: 1406 Data too long for column 'announcement_groups' at row 1 -- | --

So, not the Groups are the problem here, Characters are (String lenght) - So, theres a limit.. i'm not able to reopen it - but thats an issue i guess..

ah okay, I thought you meant picking them from the UI
It's true, we missed to give a length there and it defaults to 255, which can be too short in extreme cases.
