We want to make sure that our exposed @playwright/test types work with the latest TypeScript version and didn't introduce unwanted regressions. Also this release offers a lot of great enhancements which should make our developer experience better: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/typescript/announcing-typescript-5-9/
