Sure, what I did was edit my browser flow in Keycloak to have a username form followed by a password form instead of using the combined username-password form.
Also, here's a couple screenshots if that's easier:

Largely copied from the original login.ftl page but applies theme when the username and password are in separate forms/pages. Please let me know if there's anything I should change :)
