One year-round programme, three stages. A learner meets us during outreach through the Young Scientists Kenya (YSK) network, steps up to an intensive Microsoft ADC bootcamp, then trains across the year through research projects and Code Clubs, culminating in a national showcase at CEMASTEA. CBC aligned throughout.
AI Literacy Bootcamps — Hands-on AI and robotics education aligned with the CBC framework, delivered through locally fabricated kits. 5-day intensive, 15–20 students. Bootcamps run at the Microsoft Africa Development Centre in Westlands, Nairobi, with participants receiving CEMASTEA-validated certificates.
Code Clubs (Raspberry Pi) — Weekly after-school clubs co-run with the Raspberry Pi Foundation for secondary schools, covering Raspberry Pi computing, Python programming and hardware projects. Teacher training included.
Inclusive Robotics — Accessible technology including Braille challenges and adaptive tools, built on universal design principles and multi-sensory learning. 8–12 students.

Inclusion is the starting point, not an add-on. We work with partner schools serving visually impaired and other neurodiverse learners, with sustained engagement rather than one-off visits.
Every programme ships with Braille worksheets, Kenyan Sign Language video, and neurodiverse-friendly pacing. Student projects have themselves produced Braille kits, KSL videos and neurodiverse-friendly AI lessons.
Schools in our maker-space network fabricate robots, Braille devices and accessibility hardware for the rest of the network.
Names of partner schools serving learners with disabilities are deliberately not published, to protect the learners and educators at those schools.

Alongside this, 66 active Code Clubs run in partnership with the Raspberry Pi Foundation, reaching schools across all 47 counties.

Innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.
Our PET recycling initiative transforms plastic waste into 3D printing filament, creating the very robot parts our students learn with. This closes the loop between environmental responsibility and technological education, while creating economic opportunities for communities.
The cycle: collect plastic bottles from communities and process them into filament → 3D print robot parts, enclosures and mechanical components → students learn with robots built from recycled materials.
Our fabrication lab at the historic Nairobi Railway Museum is the hub for these operations, where we also train youth and women in sustainable manufacturing. The initiative has expanded beyond Kenya, with machines and kits shipped to Nigeria through the ZeeTech Foundation.
