sprint 30 draft#64

We have a couple things where it's not clear if they'll land in this sprint or not, e.g.:
Linting is just an API, so it's probably only worth mentioning in release notes. "Default editor" would be worth mentioning if it lands, but I suspect it won't because it won't work well across Brackets sprint upgrades yet. So maybe it's not worth including even preemptively for translation? "Open With" has the same problem with updates -- so I think we should remove it from this update notification. We shouldn't advertise it heavily until it's working more reliably... |

Something like "Live Preview continuous HTML updating" might drive this home more -- you already can do 'HTML editing' in Live Preview in some sense...

So wordy... 😬 but I can't think of anything better. "Live", "continuous" and "updating" all seem redundant to me.
@adrocknaphobia @njx @gruehle @dangoor Suggestions?

Also, we'll keep this in for translation and remove if we must. I'll omit "open with" and "default editor" (not included in my last draft).

How about "Live HTML Editing" or "Live Preview While Editing HTML"?

"Live HTML Editing" sounds pretty solid to me

@jasonsanjose Just realized -- function parameter hints landed this sprint too. Seems worth including that. Is it too late? (I just added this to the release notes draft if you want to borrow any of the phrasing there) |
|
@peterflynn sure that works |

Might be too late, but the new Replace All functionality from @zaggino (I think) landed in this sprint--we should mention that as well. (It pops up a panel that lets you choose which items to replace.) |

Yep, that's from adobe/brackets#4686. I'll add it. Thanks! |
