Will TrainerAndroid use a footpod instead of a speed sensor for treadmill workouts?

Hi,
This app is almost perfect for what I'd like to use it for, but I was unable to use a foot pod with it. I get the message that a speed source was not found. I understand this app is mostly intended for cycling, but was curious if I'd be able to get this to work with a Stryd pod (ant+) that supports speed, cadence, and power.

Thanks for the app, though. It's clean and easy to use. I'll still use it for cycling.
