[BUG] GTA V Enhanced not starting, wants to open com.epicgames.launcher link

When starting GTA V enhanced, the game is not launching, instead this Windows Message pops up:

• copy the .exe file inside the GTAV install directory (next to the PlayGTAV[Enhanced].exe file)
• create a fix.bat with the content fix.bat to start "" EpicGamesLauncher.exe PlayGTAV[Enhanced].exe %*
• set that fix.bat file as an alternative exe in the game's settings

I haven't tried this myself with Enhanced, but regular GTAV, and it has been some time. It should still work, but I am not sure the instructions are 100% up-to-date, they might need minor adjustments.

this should be contents of fix.bat of course with the executable name adjusted.

I confirm that this workaround works for Enhanced, my fix.bat just consists of
start "" EpicGamesLauncher.exe PlayGTAV.exe %*
which works for me without reg add stuff

This solution allows to run only the offline mode of the game.
How can I get it to run the game properly?

I tried to replace PlayGTAV.exe with GTA5_BE.exe in the "bat" file, but it leads to the error "Please launch Grand Theft Auto V using Rockstar Games Launcher.".
Also, replacing PlayGTAV.exe with GTAVLauncher.exe also leads to offline mode.
