Installed plugin will not update auth token form field

After Medium plugin is installed in Wordpress (v. 4.5.4), it will not save the authentication token produced from my Medium profile settings. This prevents me from being able to post content from Wordpress to Medium. This feature works for other WP & Medium users in my org.

Is this a known issue with the plugin?

Is it more likely a Wordpress issue?
