Hi team, thank you for the great work on Elliptic2 ("The Shape of Money Laundering", arXiv:2404.19109). I'd like to request access to the dataset for academic research, but the download link seems to have gone down.
The official README and the paper reference http://elliptic.co/elliptic2 (and elliptic.co/elliptic2-dataset), but both URLs now return 404 (Elliptic's site has been redesigned into an enterprise product page). We also tried emailing the paper's listed authors (muhuaxu@mit.edu, chenjie@us.ibm.com) but the mails bounced.
We are academic researchers at Beijing Jiaotong University working on Group-level Graph Anomaly Detection (Gr-GAD) — detecting anomalous groups (money-laundering rings, fraud rings) in financial transaction graphs. Elliptic2's expert-labeled illicit subgraphs are exactly what our task requires. The dataset would be used exclusively for non-commercial academic research and properly cited.
Could you point us to the current way to obtain the Elliptic2 dataset (e.g., a new download URL, a distribution form, or a contact)? We are happy to sign a data use agreement or provide more details about our research.
