openHASP as an app or widget?

Would it be possible to port the openHASP logic to an app? Imagine having a virtual openHASP on your PC, Mac or maybe even smartphone!

I would imagine an app that can be configured to a certain resolution, then does exactly the same as an ESP32-gadget would. A user could set the same resolution as their hardware devices, then re-use the same config files and logic they use for the hardware openHASPs, e.g. when connecting to HomeAssistant.

Just a thought. Insane, but perhaps it has merit.

There is a Linux, MacOS and Windows build option.
This is mostly for dev and testing, not a pre-compiled or supported binary that you can download.

Most of the functionality can be used, but not everything is supported (like fonts) so your mileage may vary.
There is no app for mobile devices.
