This PR combines the fix to allow whitelisting methods and the fix to allow whitelisting functions using regular expressions so that you can also use regular expressions to whitelist methods
It will fix #52 and #53 in a single go
It can either be applied as a single PR without merging the other two PRs or it can be applied after the other two PRs have been merged
