[BUG] TV Seasons are not being dropped when a show is

This is not a bug — Yamtrack is focused on tracking your personal viewing history, not the official or production status of a show.

When you mark a show as Dropped, the status reflects your personal intent (e.g., not continuing to watch it). However, the progress (seasons and episodes watched) remains visible — because Yamtrack's main purpose is to preserve your personal watch history, regardless of your current engagement.

Also, just to clarify:

• The official status of a show — whether it's ongoing, canceled, or completed by the studio — is a separate matter. That information comes from studios or metadata sources and is not related to your personal progress or status in Yamtrack.

To summarize:

• Status (Dropped, Completed, etc.) → your personal decision about the show.
  
• Progress → your viewing history (episodes watched).
• Official show status → what the studio has decided (e.g., canceled, ended) — that’s tracked separately and not linked to your interaction.

Hello, Weird logic tbh, logically speaking, when you stop watching a show it should stop appearing in your progress and in your homepage.

Im not talking about the show's status as in (ongoing, canceled, or completed), I'm talking about the personal status, I will provide a few screenshots:

This is on homepage, as you can see "Penny Dreadful" a dropped show and still appearing in my progress, the show's main page clearly indicates it's dropped, but when you enter season one it appears as in progress!

Apologies, I misunderstood your point. In that case, you're absolutely right — this is indeed a bug.
