## What happens if an expense with tax is moved to a workspace where tax tracking is disabled?

If an expense that includes tax data is moved or merged into a workspace that does not have tax tracking enabled, the tax fields (**Tax** and **Tax amount**) will still appear on the expense with a "Tax no longer valid" violation.

To resolve this, tap the **Tax** or **Tax amount** field on the expense. An alert will appear explaining that tax tracking is disabled on the workspace. You can then choose to:

- **Delete tax** — Removes the tax rate and tax amount from the expense.
- **Cancel** — Keeps the tax data on the expense.

Alternatively, you can enable tax tracking on the workspace to edit the tax details directly.

## What if my workspace has multiple tax rates?

You'll have the option to change the tax rate from within the expense as needed.
