Action Performed:

Prerequisite: No existing conversation between User A and User B.

  1. Open the staging.new.expensify.com website as User A.
  2. Start a conversation with User B.
  3. Send 5+ messages to User B.
  4. As User B, note that the new conversation is displayed bold in LHN, as it has unread messages.
  5. Open chat with User A.
  6. Note that no "New" marker is visible above the first received message.

Expected Result:

Unread marker should be visible above the first new received message after opening conversation.

Actual Result:

After receiving messages on a new conversation and opening chat, "New" marker is not visible above the first message.
