Action Performed:

Precondition:

  • Taxes are enabled.
  • Set Workspace currency default to 5% tax rate.
  • Set Foreign currency default to 10% tax rate.
  1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
  2. Go to workspace chat.
  3. Click + > Create expense > Manual.
  4. Enter amount without changing currency.
  5. Click Next.
  6. On confirm page, click Amount, change currency and save it.
  7. Scroll down to Tax amount field.

Expected Result:

Tax amount will update in accordance with Foreign currency default rate.

Actual Result:

Tax amount changes to zero, even when Foreign currency default rate is non-zero.
