2. Go to workspace settings > Expensify card.

Expected Result:

Expensify Card issuing statement will not appear briefly at the bottom.

Expensify Card issuing statement appears briefly at the bottom every time opening the page.

Expensify Card issuing statement appears briefly at the bottom every time opening the page.

What is the root cause of that problem?

The footer briefly flashes because:

• footerHeight starts at 0
• The footer renders immediately and is visible
• The onLayout callback fires and updates footerHeight
• This causes a layout recalculation and visible content shift

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

We should update logic to set the default value of footerHeight is undefined then hide the text when footerHeight = undefined
