Action Performed:

1. Enable the manual distance flow beta
2. Create a manual distance request
3. Click on the distance row of the newly created request
4. Edit the distance

Expected Result:

There is manual distance option to edit and the distance edit flow works fine

Actual Result:

There is no manual distance option at all

Isn't the only option to add a stop? Or are you referring to something else entirely? Do you hgave screenshots from a previous version?

When opening the distance tab, we must manually change the amount, but instead a tab opens with changing points

And also, I think it is not enabled in recorded video as I see from code, there is no Distance tab if beta manual distance is enabled.

Proposal

Please re-state the problem that we are trying to solve in this issue.

When the manual distance beta flow is enabled, users cannot access the manual distance option when creating or editing distance requests

What is the root cause of that problem?

Manual distance flow is not completed. In IOURequestStartPage.tsx, we only render Distance tab (no manual distance logic yet):

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

We need to add manual distance navigation when it is enabled:

As far as I understand, there is a small misunderstanding here 😅
The edit distance manually flow should be available for track distance => manual distance (Following the QA video, it seems like the beta isn't enabled since with enabled beta we don't have the distance tab on create expense flow)
And I don't think it makes sense to update the distance manually when we can change locations on the map
So I'm 99% sure this isn't a bug
