Action Performed:

  1. Open Workspace “More Features” page: https://new.expensify.com/workspaces/3F0475B2A96323A5/more-features.
  2. Attempt to enable Travel at the workspace level from this page.
  3. Observe there is no Travel feature card/toggle to enable per-workspace Travel.
  4. Note: We recently added Travel Invoicing settings to the Workspace editor when Travel is enabled here: https://github.com/Expensify/Expensify/issues/532889, but enabling Travel itself cannot be done from the workspace settings at all.

Expected Result:

  • New Feature (requires Design): Add a Travel feature card on the Workspace More Features page to enable Travel per workspace.
  1. Hide Travel from the global create menu for all users until an admin has enabled it in the workspace (only show it if your current default workspace is enabled for travel)
  2. Add Expensify Travel to the “More Features” page alongside other workspace toggles.

  1. Add Expensify Travel to the "What features are you interested in" page alongside other workspace toggles.
Image
  1. When Travel is enabled, create a dedicated Travel tab within the workspace, and a GBR indicating that it still needs to be set up (the policy does not have a travelSettings.spotnanaEntityID NVP)
  2. Add the new "provision expensify travel" view in the workspace settings travel tab. This should open up the RHP that currently exists for travel. We want to remove the first view that shows "enable travel" though.

  1. Add the new "We've got your request" view in the workspace settings travel tab
Image
  1. Add the book or manage travel view in the workspace settings travel tab

Actual Result:

  • The Workspace More Features page lacks a Travel feature card/toggle, so Travel cannot be enabled at the workspace level from this page.
  • Users must use other entry points (FAB or Classic) to enable Travel before the related Workspace editor settings become available.

Workaround:

Enable Travel via the existing enablement flow outside the Workspace More Features page, then configure Travel Invoicing in the Workspace editor.
