Users are hitting dead clicks from modal

Coming from this thread, users seem to be hitting dead clicks after seeing modals. We're still not 100% sure why but we added more logging to diagnose. There are some examples of sessions in the Slack link above.

Our logs our live now. We spent some time looking for an example, but struck out. I confirmed the logs are working. So, we just need to wait for another incident and then we can check to see if the logs help at all.
