Device used: Windows 11 / Chrome, Android 13, / Xiaomi Poco F5, iOS 15.8.3 / iPhone 7 Plus
App Component: Other

Action Performed:

1. Login to ND using Expensifail account
2. User A - Create a new workspace and disable delayed submission
3. User A - Add the approver to User B
4. User A - Go to workspace chat
5. User A - Create manual expenses with missing category
6. User B - Click the Review button
7. User B - Verify the Approve button still appear and can be click when the expense still missing category

Expected Result:

The expense should not auto submitted for approval when add a manual expense with missing category

Actual Result:

Expense still auto submit when add a manual expense with missing category
Note:

• The expense can also be approved and paid

Workaround:
