Action Performed:

  1. Go to https://staging.new.expensify.com/
  2. Log in.
  3. Go to the Collect workspace chat
  4. Click '+' > Request Money on the workspace chat
  5. Scan this receipt)
  6. Watch the scan so you don't miss the result showing "unknown merchant"
  7. Verify you see a 'merchant failed' on the IOU
  8. Verify the amount and merchant are not added

Expected Result:

The receipt amount should reflect the correct value

Actual Result:

When attempting to add an amount to a failed IOU scan, an "Unknown Merchant" appears

Workaround:

Can the user still use Expensify without this being fixed? Have you informed them of the workaround?
