@kbecciv a couple questions:

1. What device are you testing with?
2. If you use the exact same input string on production as you do in the OP, are you able to reproduce?

The first thing I'm noticing is that the flickering starts to happen once you've reached the end of the first line and the emojis break to a second line. So I am skeptical that it's related to the specific emoji.

I can't reproduce on my iOS but will keep trying.

Unable to reproduce on:

• iPhone 13 mini / 16.4.1 (real device)
• iPhone 8 / 16.2 (simulator)

#17788 is a PR deployed in the current version that touched emoji components (cc @ntdiary @tgolen @rushatgabhane).

Going to focus on reproducing first though, will ask in Slack if anyone else is able to repro.

Don't think this is worth blocking deploy on since it's such a minor display issue and the feature is still usable
