Web -Using CMD + V doesn’t focus the input and insert the text unlike slack

3. and use CMD + V or Ctrl + V

Expected Result:

The compose box will be focused and the text is pasted

The compose box is not focused and nothing happens

I'm having trouble reproducing this. When I copy and paste, the compose box is clear, as shown below:
