Would be nice to be able to quickly generate a series of identical publication plots, where selected parameters are applied (including allowing the x-axis and/or y-axis ranges to be set to fixed values).

About using the plots for publication. I find the quality of the plots is quite sufficient for publication via a saved .png file. The best thing is if one is doing a number of them (e.g. in the CW POWGEN paper) is that they are consistent. Using the 'P' option requires doing the options the same way repeatedly for each one & could be a lot of extra steps.
