yazi is powerful with copying filenames, but using those filenames seems less powerful: make it more powerful with enhanced editing!

I am using Yazi with cf (copy filename) and I then want to apply an (edited) version of that filename to an existing file.

But the filenames can sometimes be very long. If Shift+Ctrl+E would be supported I could select to the end of the existing filename and paste or delete it.

What are the keys Ctrl+Shift+a and Ctrl+Shift+e? Are they standard Vim or Emacs/readline keybindings? Why not use V?

Both of the key binds seem to be Emacs key bindings. Ctrl + Shift + e selects from the current cursor position until the end of the current line, and Ctrl + Shift + a selects from the current cursor position until the beginning of the current line.

I haven't seen them included in the Emacs/readline keybindings, so I assume you're referring to Ctrl+a and Ctrl+e (without Shift), which are already supported:

Ctrl + a and Ctrl + e move the cursor, but Ctrl + Shift + a and Ctrl + Shift + e also do selection in addition to moving the cursor. Shift is used in Emacs to select text.

I haven't used Emacs myself, can you provide more details - if both Ctrl + Shift + a and Ctrl + Shift + e are used to select text, then what is the difference between them?
