Darker Mode isn't very dark

  I've taken a screenshot showing advanced settings and how they look in SumatraPDF. I'm shooting for a very dark theme with [near] black background and [approximately] orange text. I'm getting a light gray background with white text. I've experimented with UseSysColors={true, false} and didn't notice any difference. I don't want embedded images tinkered with 'cause getting it right is error prone.

images are not "tinkered with" the document colours are either contrasted by "2 tint stop points" OR REVERSED and contrasted with "2 tint stop points" that is why one is called invert ALL colours background or image are flipped over to make red to blue or blue to red or black = white. These are in MuPDF terms

-I Start in inverted color mode.
-B hex-color Set black tint color (default 303030).
-C hex-color Set white tint color (default FFFFF0).

If you reverse black tint range colours to white tint range colours that is inversion, same as flipping the flag from true to false in effect about mid gray. If the tint limit black = 00000 to 808080 and white is 808080 to ffffff then using values from one as the other affects all images.

I was too brief. Sorry. I wasn't complaining that embedded images HAD been tinkered with, only meant that I'd like to effect dark mode with non-white text without affecting embedded images. My concern is dark mode.

"dark mode " is really a "customer" driven use of invert and always has been possible from early sumatraPDF, really canvas dark mode is adjusting the tints in[ad]vertently.
IMHO the correct way to reduce BLUE light at night is reduce the blue value. same as Night mode in Windows.
"theming" is the interface and can be set to any value you want
