We currently don’t have a resource detector for Linode Cloud in the resourcedetectionprocessor. This makes it impossible to automatically enrich telemetry with Linode metadata when running on their cloud.

Describe the solution you'd like

Add a new Linode detector that uses the official Linode metadata API client to detect resource information (server ID, hostname, region, etc) and populate the corresponding OpenTelemetry resource attributes.
