I don't understand the point of stuff like this- if you want harder content, just start making your own harder levels or start doing challenge runs, like playing levels without powerups or whatever. Doing stuff like extending levels seems like a waste of time as new levels could just be made instead, and having enemies re-spawn seems strange to me. |

So, being one who has completed the story mode worlds (and all the contribution worlds, sadly 🙁), it's gotten kinda sad seeing everything completed, so I would like to suggest a new feature of having a difficulty button in the options menu for people who are more experienced players in the game, just so people don't get bored afterwards wondering if a new world will come out soon. Also, by having this feature, it will probably make people want to stay after all the story mode levels have been completed, and try doing them in a different mode.
Suggestions for changing difficulty:
Option one: For a harder mode you could add double the enemies or something similar.
Option two: Also for a harder mode, you could try giving the enemies multiple lives or have them respawn.
Option three: Don't have powerups in the levels, or make them rare. You could also try replacing them with tux dolls for the shops instead.
Option four: Add more spikes, lengthen levels.
Now, the reason i suggest this is because it would probably make people stay longer, increase the challenge of the levels, and add more variety. Remember, this would mainly be for official levels, you can decide whether you want it for community levels and such. Please give your thoughts on the matter, i really want to hear more ideas for this.
If the modes are implemented here are options:
Hard
Normal
Easy
