Allow once a minute read för 640G / EverSense hardware data source

I'm using juggloco in tandem with xDrip, juggluco for reading the values from my L3/L3+ sensor and xDrip as front end and treatment data keeper. This works quite well (some differences in values from what xDrip gets and displays) with the "Libre (patched App)" option as juggluco emulates the API, but they have announced they will deprecate the feature and are asking people to change to the EverSense API instead, the drawback is that in xDrip this will just get data every 5th minute.

It had been nice if there was an option to override the 5 min frequency with a custom value 1 to 5 minutes, I wouldn't mind if this was applied universally, when you pick another hardware data source, then it could be set to the default value for this source.

xDrip modifies the values when it receives them from the Patched Libre broadcast.

yes, the modification to turn them into 5 minute values via smoothing (which is adjustable). That's why there was the 1 minute testing which I did too. Basically all of xDrip was built on a 5 minute structure, receiving 1 value a minute direct from a sensor it still plots 12 values per hour. I don't think #2680 made it to production yet so don't hold your breath.

Even if you disable the Settings/Less common settings/Other misc. options/Smooth Libre data there is a difference between the values displayed in xDrip and Juggluco.

I can understand with the 5, because something has to transform 5 values into 1

The Patched App input is verging on obsolete and perhaps it should go too if we're having a cleanup.

Hi,

on the Patched App source is always a forced smoothing active that can only be set to min. 10 minutes (15 or even 20 minutes by default I think?), there is a specific setting for this. This setting is not depending on other smoothing options and can not be disabled.
This setting should be changeable to 5 minutes or off.

I have been using Libre one minute testing #2680 this feature a long time and think its great.
The only thing i can report is that the collector set to patched app data source sometimes just fails and xdrip goes dark as in stops receiving any data until force close. I sometimes have to change to the EverSense collector.

Can the EverSense collector please be modified as per Juggguco help page instructions?

I don't think just change the frequency as instructed is a good way, as this affects those who really use a 640G/EverSense in a negative way, increase battery consumption for no gain. This needs to be a configuration, say a data pull frequency option which is a drop down 1,2,3,4,5 minutes where default is 5 minutes and we who use the L3/L3+ could benefit from setting it to 1 minute.

Myself I haven't had to force stop xDrip at all, I tend to have it running for a month without restart (till next firmware update the phone gets).

Yeah i see or maybe just add a juggluco in the collector list or add a health connect to the collector list, that way the unaltered bg's can be received without any issues of the 5 minute thing of the graph.
