Hi, can't help with your problem, but the xDrip error log looks like this bug #4210 and should not be relevant. |

Apologies I thought the log screenshot I posted would work. I updated to
the latest nightly release that was stable or should I install one of the
pre-releases from October before posting more log screenshots?

logs. Please scroll through them so that you show other logs present. Or,
update to the latest Nightly release to completely remove the logs you are
showing and then post a screenshot of the logs.

Thank you for the reply, I will install the Nightly build 15th Oct 2025 to see if that solves the issue, I thought we were only supposed to use the stable releases. Yes I have companion blue tooth enabled. |

No one has suggested that will solve your issue. It will remove the logs that you were wondering if are related to the issue. Have you disabled all battery optimizations? |

Yes I have unrestricted for battery on for Xdrip, AAPS, and G7 (Android 14). I usually lock my screen when still in AAPS because I'm always looking at it. Good Guardians seems like it would kill my apps more than keep them running? I did just miss a reading at 2:57 in X Drip and AAPS and the logs don't show anything but picked back up at 3:02. |

Here is the log again too. Almost the same error even though I updated to
October 15th nightly release.

Unchecked in Bluetooth settings under less common settings. I am still looking at more troubleshooting guides as well, I did not scan the barcode to start once I installed again since I was using companion mode with official G7 app, do I need to scan that barcode again as well? |

Ok won't scan any barcode..I did all the companion steps. Dexcom updates every 5 minutes, which notification do you mean? The app itself and status when looking at phone menu? That updates |

Here is the BG Table again, seems to be working again right now. My watch is off, so it almost seems like the watch Bluetooth signal might be getting in the way and I will need to work on the wear app again. Will turn the watch back on in a few to see if it interrupts again. |

turned back on, Yes I do have battery optimization disabled for Dexcom, I have the watch off and also my Bluetooth headphones because I was wondering if the event log would pick those up as well and it did. turned back on companion Bluetooth mode, the value is now 1 behind what Dexcom was 5 minutes before. Noise still very high

Next reading at 17:12 Dexcom and Xdrip match and noise level no longer noted on Home screen of Xdrip. So weird, I will keep watching to see if issue happens again with no other bluetooth devices connected. |

It wont let me click on and view that link but I did see some in between 5 minute times but was still trying to fix the intermittent misses more than the other values. Its just a weird situation and every so often the values get to AAPS every 10 minutes instead of 5, I don't know what to make of it. At least it fixes itself so far now with the Oct 15th Nightly release instead of me having to manually interfere and correct, hopefully it stays that way even if the every so often 10 minute gap is puzzling. |

I have not because I was trying to maintain the dexcom clarity reports but
I might have to try and change to that if I keep having this weird issue .
it's only happened twice in 2 hours since all of the changes we've gone
through.

I am also curious 😅 thank you for the article that was helpful! Curious
for the G7 receiver does it also have to be carried with you 24/7 like the
G6 or does the backfill mean once it turns on it will generate the entire
days readings to clarity?

As long as you turn it on once a day, it will backfill everything missing because it backfills 24 hours. The backfill will be on the phone not to Clarity. |

Ok it's starting to make more sense.1 more question when backfilling to the
phone what app is it backfilling to if I'm using Xdrip without G7 installed
or do I leave the G7 app installed? Sorry just trying to visualize before
switching everything again. Thank you so much for all of the help you have
been giving me!

In order to upload to Clarity, you will need to connect the receiver to a
computer with a USB cable and use the computer to upload.
I believe you can do that once a month. So, you don't have to do that
everyday. But, Clarity will only be updated once you connect the receiver
to a computer and upload.

Ok so to be clear I would be uninstalling G7 phone app, making xdrip
hardware data source as Dex, then turning on G7 receiver once a day to
backfill. Im only writing out my understanding because I've never used the
G7 receiver before (I have it) and I thought the G7 sensor could only be
tied to one device at a time? Feel free to point me at an article if you
want. I'm looking for steps as well in the aaps docs to try and understand.

It could get really tricky if you also have a Tandem t:slim pump or if you also have a BlueJay watch.
